Bluey writes stuff. He believes in moment, mood, meter and rhythm. From Jaguar-LandRover, Canon and Missguided to Samsung, Jeep and Philip Morris International, he has worked as a senior creative for tons of brands in pretty much every sector. Sometimes as part of an agency, but often as a decoupled solution for those who require a rapid, intelligent, no-bullshit response. His ability to hold the room in pitch presentations is regarded as uncanny.
The fact that he is a director means that (unlike many agencies), he never suggests anything that can’t be done for the money. Sounds like a small detail, but ask a producer. It’s one that makes a huge difference when you’re doing the sums.
If all you need is words, he is happy to just do that for you, but he buzzes most vibrantly when there’s a complete campaign to play with. Let him off the lead if you can.
Jaguar i-PACE
He wrote this for the worldwide launch of the Jaguar i-Pace. The first all-electric supercar from Jaguar. Stole a bit from W. Shakespeare, but he’s a buddy and so he’s probably ok about that.
Profile Pensions
He wrote this as part of a pitch for a tiny pension company who were specifically aiming their service at the working-class self-employed. He was very proud to be involved, but a change in legislation meant the whole campaign got canned. Dammit!
Jaguar AWD
He wrote this when Jaguar needed an idea to explain their clever new AWD system. It’s super-complicated tech, so they needed a really simple idea to explain it. An idea that makes it clear. So this is all about feeling. It’s about your feet. Each of them. Your foot. On the ground. But which ground…?
